Paint besides me in my studio. If you want to learn how to paint or further your painting skills. I will help you. Only 3 students per class. Very informative and entertaining.
The next painting class session begins Monday, May17th and Friday May 21st from 10 a.m – 12:30 p.m. Choose either the Monday or Friday class. Each class runs for 6 weeks.
$225. 3 students maximum. There are 2 spaces left in each class. First come first served.

Introduction to Egg Tempera
2 Day Workshop

The two-day workshop will cover a general overview of egg tempera techniques. Working on a small commercially prepared board, students will learn how to grind pigments and prepare the egg yolk for panting. Come with a prepared drawing or photo to work from. Techniques to transfer your image to the prepared board will be discussed and demonstrated. Registered participants for the workshop will be notified of the board size prior to the beginning of the workshop so you can plan your image. Prior painting is helpful. Materials included!
2 Day Plein Air Landscape Workshop

Tuition: Member $150 / Non-Member $180
Price is $75 a day per student for a 2 day plein air landscape workshop, plus travel and lodging. This is based on a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 12. A deposit of $100 per student is required. Deposits are generally non-refundable; if a student cancels, the deposit may be applied to a later workshop with Daniel. Sponsors are encouraged to add a nominal fee for refreshments and other expenses. Students typically bring their own lunch. Sponsor does not need to provide meals. A well-lit studio space is required to accommodate students and their easels. Occasionally an outdoor painting workshop may run in to a rainy day. Space will also be used for daily critiques and lectures. Workshops typically run 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., with a short break for a bag lunch.

Daniel Ambrose is a professional artist with over twenty years of professional experience. An inspiring teacher, Daniel’s informal educational style emphasizes a knowledge filled congenial environment. He is an engaging and informative instructor and speaker, the recipient of many awards, and is featured in numerous media articles. Daniel is a member of several professional art organizations including an Executive Trustee of the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Florida, the prestigious Florida Artist Group, and Toe River Arts Council in North Carolina. Ambrose maintains studios in Florida and North Carolina.
