Sleeping Seagull Sketch

This morning I went down to the beach to check out the waves. Hurricane Irene is expected to pass offshore here early tomorrow morning. The waves weren’t much higher than normal, but should be nice after the storm passes. I plan on returning to paint them.

Meanwhile, I saw this seagull sleeping and sat down to sketch it. When I did, a Snowy Egret walked right up to my face. I shot a short video of it, and will upload it to my site as soon as I can figure out how.
